On Friday, September 6th, the NC Music Factory will host black., a multimedia celebration of style, fashion, music, and art. Playing on the classic trunk show format, purveyors of high-design fashion will display their latest and upcoming lines of clothing, jewelry, and accessories for purchase. In addition to the merchant aspect, the event will include a 30-model runway show accompanied by a live concert from the Black Cadillacs direct from Knoxville, TN, as well as live painting by Matt Moore and Kent Youngstrom, performance art conducted throughout the Music Factory’s scenic Fountain Plaza, and a sonic backdrop provided by DJ Edward Shouse.
black. intends to broaden the notion of a typical fashion event. With modes of expression like live rock ‘n’ roll and visual art incorporated into an occasion designed to stimulate their stylistic sensibilities, those in attendance will swirl in an evening of dazzling metropolitan culture.
The Music Factory looks forward to hosting many of the finest designers on the international scene as Revolution Boutique introduces their fall line and celebrates their new location on East Blvd. Those already signed on to participate in black. are Hudson, 7 Diamonds, DL1961, Joe’s, Stone Rose, AS by DF, M. Cohen, Goorin Bros., Stone & Cloth, ASTARS and D.Brand, with more to join.
Drift off into another world and enter Re Salon and Med spa’s luxurious wellness lounge for a signature drink and customized treatment. Each guest will have the opportunity to Re-fresh, Re-vitalize and Re-juvenate mind, body and soul. Then after the event a VIP after party will be hosted at Label, where DJ Cedric Gervais will increase our momentum.
